Introducing the Invicta product range
Invicta is a long-established British manufacturer of industrial vibration equipment and a division of Grantham Engineering Ltd. Its products are developed for the material handling and processing industries, where consistent vibration, robust construction and dependable operation are essential.
The wider Invicta range includes base-mounted and flange-mounted electric vibrator motors, hydraulic vibrators, pneumatic piston vibrators and specialist linear vibration units. This allows the correct drive system to be selected according to the machine, available power source, mounting arrangement and operating environment.
Base-mounted electric vibrator motors
Invicta base-mounted electric vibrator motors, sometimes described as unbalanced motors or shaker motors, are designed for direct installation onto vibrating machinery.
The standard electric range is available with 2, 4, 6 and 8 pole winding configurations, providing different operating speeds to suit applications ranging from high-speed feeding and material flow assistance to slower, higher-amplitude screening and conveying duties.

BL and BLz Series
The standard Invicta base-mounted vibrator motor range. BLz models are available for use in qualifying ATEX Zones 21 and 22 dust environments, while the BL range can accommodate selected low-temperature and high-temperature applications.
BLT and BLTz Series
Heavy-duty motors incorporating a thrust bearing, making them particularly suitable for vertical mounting. BLTz models are available for qualifying ATEX dust environments.
BLC Series
A practical option for selected installations where a single-phase electrical supply is available. Compatible motor sizes can be operated through the appropriate start and run capacitor arrangement.
BLF Series
Fan-cooled vibration motors developed for hot, dirty and demanding industrial environments.
FBL and FBLz Series
Low-profile base-mounted motors designed for machinery where installation height or available space is restricted.
EBK and ULBK Series
Specialist vibration motors developed for selected gas, dust and combined hazardous-area applications. The correct certification and operating conditions should always be confirmed for the specific model and installation.
Flange-mounted vibrator motors
Invicta flange-mounted electric vibrator motors provide an alternative to conventional foot-mounted designs. They are used on equipment where the motor must be mounted through a flange or where a horizontal circular motion is required.
The range includes SFL single-flange motors, ESFK models for selected ATEX gas environments and SWL motors suitable for compatible variable-speed-drive applications. Typical uses include circular sieves, finishing machines and specialist processing equipment.
Hydraulic and pneumatic vibrators
For mobile plant or installations where an electrical supply is unsuitable, Invicta also manufactures hydraulic vibration equipment.
The HV Series consists of base-mounted rotary hydraulic vibrators, while the compact HVL Series uses contra-rotating shafts to produce linear vibration from a single unit. These designs can be particularly useful on mobile screens, crushers and other machinery with limited installation space.
Invicta pneumatic piston vibrators use compressed air to generate reciprocating linear force. Continuous-running cushioned, continuous-impacting and single-impacting versions are available for applications such as hopper discharge, material flow assistance and process equipment.
